Yesterday we had a meeting with the incubators in Joensuu, they had an article for the local newspaper: Karjalainen and as a side effect we were in the article.

On July 2013, we have the opportunity to offer a lecture as part of the summer school at Ajou University.
This is one of the opportunities of being a spin-off from University of Eastern Finland, to build upon our academic experiences in teaching and publishing. These activities have a direct effect on our practical knowledge to enrich our consultancy services.
Additionally, this kind of activities allow us to gain an understanding of different contexts. Being exposed to Asia and asian students allows to uncover different type of richness than the one we are "used to" on our western world.

As you know one of our founder members, Teemu, is Lecturer at Ajou University.
On the other hand Carolina keeps her passion on her research, so even if she is focusing on Ubium, she keeps her connection with UEF. So this year in Scifest, students of both of us (Teemu and Carolina) work collaboratively to present Running Othello at SciFest.
Running Othello is an exergame running simultaneously in both countries.
As a spin-off from University of Eastern Finland, to be in the state of the art in research is an important asset to have. Maybe next year you will have the opportunity to read a publication about this journey! :)
